Combat Veteran and Former Republican Calls on Americans to Join the ‘No Kings’ Protests

No Kings. No Tyrants. No Excuses. My good friend Adam “Brick” House is a combat veteran and longtime activist. He’s served his country in uniform, worked on campaigns, marched in protests, and never sworn loyalty to any party, only to the Constitution. In this video, Adam calls on all of us—veterans, activists, and citizens who still believe…

Founded in Austin, TX, in 2012, The Chaos Section is a collaborative writing project with contributors from all corners of the country. Each writer brings a unique perspective, offering insights into a wide range of topics. This site isn’t here to focus on one person’s interests, but to explore the ideas and musings of the people who fascinate us.

Thanks for joining us on this ride.

  • Rep. Jared Moskowitz, D-Fla. is largely right that FEMA’s current backlog of pending disaster applications is substantial, experts said. An analysis found applications have been pending longer than at any other time during the last 37 years
  • Dozens of U.S. metro areas have a higher concentration of immigrants in the U.S. illegally than the Minneapolis area. Vice President JD Vance’s statement that it has the highest concentration is wrong.
  • This isn’t a real photo of Minneapolis nurse Alex Pretti pinned down by federal immigration agents. The image has a digital watermark that shows it was generated using Google’s artificial intelligence tool, Gemini.
  • After federal immigration agents shot and killed Alex Pretti in Minneapolis, FBI Director Kash Patel said people cannot bring loaded firearms to protests. Laws vary by state, but the law in Minnesota, and many other states, makes guns at protests legal.
  • President Donald Trump and his allies have said anti-ICE protesters in Minnesota are paid. Evidence shows a large volunteer protest movement in the Twin Cities.

“Chaos is what we've lost touch with. This is why it is given a bad name. It is feared by the dominant archetype of our world, which is Ego, which clenches because its existence is defined in terms of control.”
- Terence McKenna, attributed

"In the end, McKenna, the Stoics, Buddhists, Taoists, and Heraclitus are all pointing us toward the same truth: to live fully, we must learn to dance with chaos, not run from it. We must let go of our rigid need for control and open ourselves to the wild, untamed, and unpredictable flow of life. Only then can we truly understand the deeper currents that shape our existence, the very sections of life where chaos and order intertwine."
- The Fear of Letting Go: Ego’s Struggle for Control
